The Tres Amigos – Three friends wanted to open a restaurant. With their investments, they rented a retail space. Unbeknown to them, the business locations had strict zoning restrictions that would prevent them from getting a liquor and entertainment license. The Tres Amigos applied for the license and attended the licensing hearing on their own. The Town denied the license due to several legal missteps that were done. Our office was able to appeal the denial of the licensing board and negotiate favorably with the licensing board. The Town granted the liquor and entertainment license.
The problem with the case is trying to navigate through the city’s and state’s complex application process of transferring or applying for a new business license. Many times, not filing all the paperwork or filing them incorrectly can lead to a denial or delay of your case. Our office can represent you in front of the zoning board and licensing board, among others. Give us a call, we can help you.
